Marshal with PDMCC
No racing happens without marshals. If you want to be part of race days and give something back to the sport, we'd love to have you.
What does marshalling involve?
Marshals are the eyes and ears of the race — you're out on the circuit keeping things safe, relaying flags, and responding to incidents. It's a hands-on role that puts you right in the middle of the action. Most marshal posts are at corner stations around Three Sisters Race Circuit in Wigan. Race days typically run from early morning to late afternoon.
Do I need experience?
No experience necessary. All new marshals go through training before being stationed — we'll walk you through flagging, incident procedures, and what to expect on race day. We run dedicated marshal training days at the start of the season. Details are posted on our Facebook page and the calendar.
What's in it for you?
- A great view of the racing — you're trackside all day
- Part of the team that makes race days happen
- ACU marshal licence and official recognition
- Good fun — we're a friendly club
